My only feasible guess right now is that at some point when I bought it I mistook it for some kind of plum, because I do have a decent bundle of those even if I still need to master the art of applying it without looking outright clownish. As much as I might joke about paying homage to my ancestry, that's not how I mean it.
But seriously. I have brown lipstick. I'm a very pale human person who does not do earthy/neutral shades basically ever, so it's not even like I have outfits I could coordinate that with. Even the green clothes I have would clash. But of course it's actually pretty nice lipstick so I can't bring myself to get rid of it in any way.
